A Personal Medicine Story: Lemon Balm
Today I am sharing my personal reflections after taking Lemon Balm, Melissa officinalis, for one month as part of a plant dieta experience. I have used Lemon Balm for over 20 years. However, I learned so much more about this plant's nuances over this month and through the shared experiences of my students from the Roots and Spheres course. Some of the themes of Lemon Balm were a sense of calm amidst chaos, restraint in anxiety, bee symbolism, and many circumstances where I was able to feel into the moment rather than overreact. I hope you find this video helpful, and if you struggle with anxiety, try Lemon Balm!
